HBHM 2024: The Grand Finale of the 24th AIMS World Congress!

The Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) has officially confirmed Hanoi, Vietnam, as the venue for its 24th World Congress, with the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon being the signature race to wrap up the Congress. The President of AIMS will personally attend the Halong Bay Marathon to present certificates to outstanding athletes who complete the Sup 3 and 330 Full Marathon distances. This marks a significant milestone, further solidifying Vietnam’s position on the global running map.

The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon boasts a certified course that meets the standards of both the World Athletics (WA) and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS). The race is part of the official competition system of the General Department of Sports and Physical Education and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. Since 2022, the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon has officially joined the Age Group Ranking System of the Abbott World Marathon Majors.
